At the company’s 62,000 ft2 operational headquarters the company uses the very latest CAD/CAM and CNC technologies to drive every part of the business.

Eastman has been part of this American manufacturer’s component car kits for the past 17 years. Using Eastman cutting systems and software, Factory Five constructs unique build-it-yourself car kits – Built, Not Bought is the company moto.
After 13 years of reliable daily use, the Factory Five team decided it was time to advance its cutting room from analog to digital and swap the ‘trusty’ Eastman M9000 for the very latest Eagle S125 static table system. The new system came equipped with improved performance, stability and security, allowing Factory Five to continue fast and accurate trimming of GRP, carpet and Kevlar.
With a vacuum system designed to securely hold any stock material, the Eagle S125’s static table is available in widths up to 4 m and lengths of between 2.4 and 11 m. Brushless servo motors provide X and Y axis drive with a maximum acceleration rate of 1.3 g, the Eagle S125 has proven itself as the go-to resource for many industries as it has capabilities of cutting, marking and punching virtually any flexible material at speeds of up to 1,524 mm/sec. For Factory Five, CNC-based manufacturing with an Eastman system has reduced the cost of manufacturing while improving the accuracy, strength and finish of its product.
