Triple H Composites now supply Skyflex carbon fibre prepreg from SK chemicals to the UK composites sector. “We first started using Skyflex for our own tubes,” explains Managing Director, Steve Harrison, “because they offered the best 20, 30 and 50 gsm UD we could find. That quality is reflected throughout the range of prepregs and using more plies of lighter weight to optimise performance is easy with Skyflex. Today, we can offer a wide range of UD and fabric and this will increase further as we adapt our stock levels to our customer needs.”

The Liverpool-based company stocks prepreg for immediate delivery and is happy to supply 5 m or 500 m. Triple H Composites specialises in lightweight UD from 20 gsm, but also carries UD up to 400 gsm with 12k 2 x 2 twill carbon prepreg.

“If you need a few metres, for a one-off job or trial that is no problem. Our lightweight fabric is the flattest you will find, is 1 m wide and very well priced. Most orders can be shipped next day. Our aim is to be flexible and offer you the best possible prepreg at competitive prices,” Steve Harrison states.

With a flexible supply ethos the company is the ideal partner for Universities and research establishments and can offer advice for those moving from wet
lay up to prepreg based on its own extensive experience of making composite components.
