SAMPE UK & Ireland Chapter’s latest annual seminar was held on 23 February 2017 at Cranfield University. The theme of the Seminar was ‘Maximising Composite Value by Innovation’.
As in recent years the format of the one-day event focused on high quality invited presentations coupled with a table top exhibition. Over 100 attendees had a chance to learn about Solar Impulse, an aircraft that has flown around the world using just solar energy, from the Keynote speaker, Richard Thommeret, representing one of the main project sponsors Solvay.
